Yesterday
Last Prairie Grass
Modernisation is taking over the wilderness. Soon the land will be planted with Canola and Maise, begetting the fuel, Ethanol. Pity.
Yesterday
I looked in the mirror and did not see the man I used to be.
The accumulated years have made their mark on my physiognomy
The wear and tear of life is stored in my eyes for all to see
It has been sometime since I reached my apogee
I am heading on a yet uncharted course to an unknown destiny
The years go by and the passage of time moves with alacrity
From the beginning to the end of existence
An infinite possibility.

Forty Minutes to Sundown
Another sunset to behold, before the day ends and becomes yesterday. As a line in my poem states: "I am heading on a yet uncharted course to an unknown destiny". Tomorrow?
