Inspiration
For almost four decades John owned and lovingly maintained a cottage in the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario. It was here that he found inspiration for many of his paintings. Alas, the time came for moving on and his poem entitled "Goodbye" was written in anticipation of having to bid a reluctant farewell to this little section of "God's Country". John feels blessed, however, to have had the opportunity to experience cottage living for as long as he did and to build up such a large fund of happy memories.
